The Ewing Police Academy is a unique and exciting four
day program Kids have the opportunity to interact with
professional policeman throughout the course and can see
into the day of a policeman. Additionally the kids have
the opportunity to evaluate early in life if this is a
field they would like to enter.
Whether your child watches police shows on
television or is excited every time he or she sees a
policeman, it just may be a love for the profession and
respect for the badge. At the Ewing Police, kids have
the opportunity to get first hand knowledge and hands on
interaction with those in the profession.
Children attending the Ewing Police Academy will get
to explore the difference services offered by the
profession. The kids will be considered recruits and
have the opportunity to experience 4 days of police
training developed specifically for Police Academy
training.
In addition to the services and responsibilities
that made up the professional of law enforcement, the
recruits also experience crime scene techniques, car
searches, obstacle courses, and are afforded other
experiences that involve law enforcement tools.
